When I play music, the TV screen backlight is always on (the screen is blank/ black with little bit brighter than it is completely off). Is that normal? Press [Play] twice to display the time on the screen. Key in the time (24-hour clock) on the keypad. Press [Store] twice… I seem to recall that TV was initially designed to work with either the BeoLink 1000 or 5000 remotes. Hope this helps.
