I've been restoring a 6000 system, but needed to do something about missing display segments.I contacted Martin (Dillen)for help, and not surprisingly, found he was developing a solution! In due course,I received a repair kit comprising of replacement displays and various resistors, and nice clear directions as to the work required. It needs patience

I'm not sure if it's still available, but I've fitted an upgrade kit in the past, that replaces the radial mech with the later tangential version, that has a better overall spec. Regards Nick

The MCL/ML converter needs a trigger voltage to turn it on when used as a slave amp. This would normally come from the powerlink output of the Beomaster etc.Unless your preamp has a trigger output you can adapt, the amp won't work! The VX7000 will only function by remote control via a compatible B&O tv,it does'nt have a socket for a sensor

It's quite common for the infra red sensor diode to become noisy and insensitive. The front pcb which carries the diode just unplugs,so if you have another link sensor, you could swap them over?

Ah yes! I remember now,it's to stabilise video signals, and can be set per preset, but I'm not sure it works on the av inputs?Try it anyway. Via the Beolink 1000,it's TV-Shift-2-Store-Store,to set a preset, and an A/V symbol then appears in the onscreen display. Regards, Nick

I think it might be Shift tv 2,to stabilse the picture?

You need to connect the MX4000 to the Beomaster via an audio/aux(datalink) cable. You can then play audio sources via the tv.If you want extra speakers on the tv,you will need an amplifier such as MCL2p,Beolink Passive/Ml-MCl converter, connected as a slave to the powerlink socket on the MX. To operate the BM6500 inside furniture, you could use an Extra

Greetings.I had a couple of brackets made some time ago,but only used one,so I have a spare. It's unpainted, maybe you are interested for your project? Regards, Nick

ITMA David! The crt and metalwork can become magnetised, and effect the picture purity. The tv has an automatic demagnetising circuit that works when you switch on the tv.It's quite common for this circuit to fail, causing the symptoms you are seeing. It's not the crt itself, but you need to get it sorted. Its quite simple, the bits n bobs cost less
