Vintage Beovision LX 2500 A/V tuning

    Hi everyone,

I am having a problem with my B&O tv getting the A/V picture to stabalise. I have the original Mk3 remote and user manual and have tried to follow the instructions. I have sussed that the AUX is the shift key but I am struggling with what the Control key is in the manual, I assume that all the functions can be used using the most advanced remote. I hope that someone out there has experienced this before and solved it and it is not a fault on my set. That would make me most upset as the rest of my vintage equipment works perfectly together. Please could somebody help me?

Do you mean with mk3 the Beolink1000mk3?

I ask this because the original remote that came with the LX2500 was the V-terminal or AV-terminal.

If it's the Beolink1000, did you try [GOTO] or [SHIFT] [GOTO]

I think it might be Shift tv 2,to stabilse the picture?

Yes you're right [SHIFT] [TV] [2] is to select the scart.

[SHIFT] [TV] [3] is to select to 6-pin A/V connector

But there was also a [CONTROL] key on the V-terminal and I think that he's trying to find out how that works on the Beolink1000.

I don't think that there's a key combination on the Beolink1000 for that.

I used to have a Beolink7000 with a [CONTROL] key, but I never found that function on the Beolink1000.

Ah yes! I remember now,it's to stabilise video signals, and can be set per preset, but I'm not sure it works on the av inputs?Try it anyway.

Via the Beolink 1000,it's TV-Shift-2-Store-Store,to set a preset, and an A/V symbol then appears in the onscreen display.

    Regards,

    Nick
