    Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

Haven't we already covered ground on this 'fixed' sw 4.24? Someone one here installed it and it made no difference. It wasn't a new sw update, just a fix for installing the new sw update. I'm sure it was a mod on this forum.

I think we'll need to wait until sw 4.25 or higher for a fix (if a fix is even intended!).

    Its a default PUC SW.

If your dealer installs again it will work proberly im sure. I tried it a few times. And after installing the SW again its works

     Henrik

BTW This is response to the post where the PUC menu didnt appear when pressing menu when in STB/DTV mode.

It is NOT the same issue we are talking about. The SW 4.24 and the latest update  to the service tool is NOT related. The crash-to-off feature is not resolved in any of the service tool updates, it is a SW 4.24 issue, and since my dealer downgraded my tv to 4.17, the tv hasn't chrashed once !

    Tobeyone,

Did you buy your BV7 recently?

If so, why haven't you waited for a mk4 with 100Hz and/or BlueRay?

    Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

I've just back from a holiday and was called, whilst away, by my dealer asking if I want to 'test the new sw'. I don't think it's an official release, as B&O UK are/were looking for people to test the new sw to see if it fixes their issue. I don't have it installed, clearly as I've been away.

as of 20:40 EST (GMT -5) no new software available in the US, according to my local shop.  OK I watched the updater run on the lap-top.  No joy yet!

    Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

I did an update of my BV-7 Mk3 and installed the software version 4.24a. Everything was ok and the TV works fine till now, but I have a doubt: in the current version of DVF Module Software the Service Tool says I have a GB model, and I am in Spain (I think I should have the EU Model).

Does anybody know what DVF Module means?

    Thanks

    Quim

    Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

Beolab, this is the version we all have installed and is the reason behind the thread.

Apparently there is a new sw (need to speak to my dealer on Monday) which is being tested internally, which was offered to me by my dealer when I was away.
