In another posting I asked for advice as to how to remove the CD mechanism from my trusty Beogram CD4500. With the welcome and helpful advice received I did just that. The reason was that as I never use the CD capability I had the idea of installing my Philips HDD120 mp3 into the 4500. I've had the Philips for a couple of years or so now and originally

Following a request for photos concerning a modification I have carried out on a piece of equipment, I would like to do just that. But how? The 'help' section suggests that permission is necessary, but how is this obtained? I would like to put a couple of photos in my posting, rather than the gallery if possible. Thanks.

A big thank you once again to those who have taken the trouble to respond. What I decided to do was:- I have a Philips HDD120 on which I have around 2500 music tracks. I used ribbon also. The plastic ones on my RL60s snapped many years ago and I found some ribbon the same colour and width. Easy to wrap around the speaker body and to the eye perfect!

Thanks for that 9Lee, I can only wish him good luck and success!

Aaron, good luck with your search, but with regard to a wall bracket, surely it cannot be beyond your ability to make one or find a bracket of some kind which you can adapt? I'm not saying it would necessarily be to B&O specification, but in your position, I would just get on with it! As for a stand, if you prefer this type of support, then

Beolab1: The B&O Beovision 7-40 is great for watching football, the ball of our Dutch team seems to go in even more times compared to when I had my Avant. (four times more I think). It was even better on my Beovision, I didn't have the boring sport switched on!
