If I take the output from BM4500 powerlink active and connect to the MCL2P can I then attach addtional pair of Beovox and still be able to control the volume using the BM4500 via beolink 1000? Making sure that I don't need to get the MLC2 AV for the MCL2P Thanks

I have an MCL2P connected to a BeoCenter 2300 with a Mk 2 Powerlink cable. When I mute the BeoCenter, the MCL2P does not mute. To rule out a BeoCenter fault, I connected the MCL2P to my BeoCenter 9500 but the same thing happened. Is the MCL2P faulty or does it simply not mute in this configuration? ...
