BM 4500 Powerlink Active to MCL2P

If I take the output from BM4500 powerlink active and connect to the MCL2P can I then attach addtional pair of Beovox and still be able to control the volume using the BM4500 via beolink 1000?

Making sure that I don't need to get the MLC2 AV for the MCL2P

    Thanks

You can connect MCL2P to BeoMaster 4500 with fully wired PL cable. You can control the volume of BeoMaster 4500 and the speakers connected to MCL2P with the BeoLink 1000, but only both speakerpairs at once. You can't switch of the speakers connected to MCL2P using MUTE!

Re: BM 4500 Powerlink to MCL2P

I think you could only control vol of the mcl2p speakers from the bm as the mcl2p doesn't have an ir eye facility  ie no remote operation - you would need a beolink active with eye and an ml cable but don't know if the bm4500 is ml capable
