I think there are 2 versions of the M70. The first version where the frontgrilles is glued -and a later version (before M75) with the pins/holes as seen in all later models. I once had a pair like yours with the grilles glued on -but recently I saw a set for sale on the danish QXL-site where the grilles were off -and there were those holes. (it was

Oops! My mistake. Of course you're right, Martin -they are S45. By the way - dimensions are (cm): S45.2: 26x48x21 "New" S45: 26,5x52,5x20 S55: 26,5x52,5x23 So, Peter -I don't know what "odd grilles" you mean...The only difference between the 2 "new" is the depht (3 cm's). Perhaps you are thinking of the S120

About the mirror panels: they're not stainless steel, but polished aluminum. I don't know if they're still available from B&O -but they were 3 years ago, when I bought one for my BG4500CD. So, contact your local B&O dealer. Steffen

Try "Dillen" here on Beoworld -he can probably help you.

On the QXL market here in Denmark, i've just seen a pair of the newer S55 fitted with units from the old S45. So it is possible. However - I don't know about the sound...

Wonderful job you have done with that old "609" Martin. Oh, I remember my parents had one of these when I was a kid. It was probably this receiver, that started my affection for B&O. Years after, when I was about 13-14 years old I bought my first B&O -a Beomaster 901. A few years after it was replaced with a BM 2400 -which was replaced

Actually, they're the same on BM 1900 and 2400. The change came with the "2"-models to the simpler type with less lines. Nice work you've done in AutoCad. Steffen
