Can i simply plug my Beocord 6500 cassette deck into the AUX input on Beosound 9000 ? Or do i need to use the Beomaster 6500 for it? I know this works with the Beogram 6500 record deck, but not sure if the cassette deck will work ok. cheers Sandy

That looks fine but i really need both din type plugs as both the beogram 6500 and my cable from the pc are both fitted this way. cheers sandy

Oh, and where would i find one of the correct switcher type adapters for sale? cheers S.

Peter : Of course you could get a Beoport and connect to the BS9000 using Masterlink and this will allow you to control the N.Radio at the same time. Yeah, i did consider beoport, but not too sure about whats involved in setting it all up, or cost for that matter, given as i am now skint..... maybe switchable 2 way thingy would do for now. cheers sandy

Guys, is there any way of permanently having 2 auxiliary sources plugged in to my beosound 9000 ? I currently have my beogram 6500 plugged in to it, but also want to have a lead from my PC to use streaming radio etc played through the main system. thanks sandy

The light on my 6500 turns on when the stylus arm is lifted off the record, presumably to assist in manually selecting a track. Havent noticed a means of turning the light on without stylus are "in use" though. sandy

Just watched a dramatic game of fitba' (2-0 the gers! ) Now relaxing with a newly acquired circa 1966 Lp of scottish fiddle music by Pibroch Mackenzie, played on my even newer acquisition of a beogram 6500....Fantastic indeed... Happy days, Sandy.

A mate is looking for a decent quality Record player and is considering a clean looking beogram 1600 which is for sale, There seems to be very little info available for this model on either beoworld or beocentral... Does anyone have any advice on this model?, Would any modern Amp/reciever work this turntable? thanks Sandy
