  • Re: Beocenter and Beosound1

You can't put BeoSound1 in option 0 as it is not a BeoLink product and cannot be programmed. You could try putting BeoCenter6 into option 4. You will need to add "Link" to the list button of Beo4 if you have one. Failing that the Beo5 will need amending to send out the "Link" command when you want to operate the Beocenter6. If

  • Re: Connection for Beolab8000 to Beocenter 2

As both BeoLab8000 speakers and the BeoCenter2 socket box only have one Powerlink socket, you will need a Powerlink splitter to enable both speakers to be connected. When you select a source are either of the speakers switching out of stand-by? (Red led turning green). Have you set the switch in the BeoLab8000 speakers to left and right respectively

  • Re: just received Beolab 5 few min. ago

I'm intrigued, didn't the dealer you bought them from offer delivery and installation? I thought that was a requirement of all Bang & Olufsen franchises. Opman

  • Re: Having both N.Radio/N-Music and CD distributed across the link network?

Hi Jerome The BeoSound4 and BeoCentre2 DO offer dual source functionality as long as one of the sources is playing in the same room as the audio unit. i.e CD in the main room via Powerlink to active speakers; then another source in a link room via masterlink. It is NOT possible to have two sources in two link rooms. BeoSound9000 and Bsnd3200 are only

  • Re: Avant Sat button

Hi Mark On the older versions of the Avant that don't support STBc set up menu do not allow you to assign the decoder socket to anything. You can either get the software updated to "reveal" this socket or you can assign a preset channel to automatically select decoder. Go to the tuning menu and select a preset cahnnel not in use i.e #6

  • Re: BeoLab 2000 Connection

The ML splitter box is certainly the easiest way and requires no re-connecting of cables but if you have to run your cable through a wall it will require a big hole to get the ML plug through it. Opman

  • Re: BeoLab 2000 Connection

Hi Diggs In simple terms, you buy another Masterlink cable of whatever length you need to get from the BeoLab2000 to somewhere covenient to connect into your existing Master link cable. Chop the plug off one end of the cable. The "jointing" of the two cables can either be done with a Bang & Olufsen ML junction box, or simply using a terminal

  • Re: Your avatar

Being interested in anything to do with space, I spent ages "photo shopping" a Beo4 into the cargo bay of the space shuttle. Unfortunately I didn't realise that the avatar would be so small it makes it almost impossible to make it out. Well it killed an hour doing it and I was pleased with the full size photo. Opman

  • Re: BeoCenter 2 Problem

Hi Mor Depending on how long the power was off due to the builders, it is likely that one or more of your products pin codes have become active. Have you entered the pin codes for all your main products? If you have a link system, it's a good idea to remove the masterlink plugs before entering the pin codes. I would enter the pin codes, then unplug

  • Re: Infra red eye

Hi Mark I think that what you are after is the mount bracket for the IR sensor not the sensor itself. The part number for the mount for a plasterboard wall is 3375188. I tried to upload an image of this item but I'm afraid technology got the better of me. Regards Opman
