Dave:
I thought you got rid of BL5's a while ago because you didn't like the way they looked> is this another pair???
Oh and if i was in your position, i would roll them at the point of diagonal balance (& over carpet, you dont want that metal ring cutting into a beautiful wooden floor).
yep...another pair.....the first one was an used one--sold them and make some profit!
This pair is new with warranty. Just sold also my Beolab 8000 and decided to keep Lab 1 and Lab 4000(black edition).
........it is really weird but the speakers are still in the box after 8 hours! I just cannot find any friend available to come and help me removed from the box!
Tahnks everyone for their support
I might be giving REALLY bad advice here, but the BL5's are 65KG... i moved my BV3-32 (also 65KG) to install the motor base, then moved it back onto the cabinet (TV now weighing 80KG with mB)
I'm tiny... only being 55KG. So, try! If i can do it, anyone can.
Oh, i've also lifted the BC1 out if it's packaging on my own (40KG) and popped it up on it's high pole stand... yes it's heavy it's all quite awkward and difficult to do, but if you're as determined as myself then you can do it!!
Just remember to keep your back straight and lift with your legs
