Apple TV1 doesn't have Airplay it has Airtunes, which is different. Sure it can stream from your Mac,but the Airplay icon isn't accessible on an iPhone with 4.2.1 update. So you can't stream from the Phone/Touch. Airtunes is not Airplay.

Gen 1 isn't going to be updated,as far as I'm aware.Therefor no Airplay. I have the 1 and like the idea of local storage. But will probably get a Mk 2 shortly. Although I may get a Mac Mini instead.I'll probably wait for the next update. An SD Mini does appeal...that may be a few updates away, however.

One could argue this falls into the too little too late category. They seem to be 5 plus years behind the curve. Lets hope we are in for a period of change.

B&O really do need a shake up. Their insular attitude will be their ultimate downfall.I just don't think they will be around in 5 years time... They just don't seem to understand that Mac-centric owners are a large percentage of their buying [now and potential] demographic,so should do all they can to tap into this rich vein. The residual

Airport Express is an unsatisfactory workaround to those who want an integrated solution. That's all there is to it. Can't imagine Airplay not taking off.Not sure I follow your logic of a unit containing a theoretically redundent tech such as Airplay being an issue,as it would still function normally. Not having it is the issue! My two Zeps weren't

Wow indeed....it's not that long ago that Beolab 8000s and 3's cost less than the current price of the 6000s!!! *shakes head and waves fist at B&O arrogant price increases when all around are lowering theirs* Anyway, look forward to some independent sound quality feedback. FYI - the dealers I have called are pleading ignorance regarding the

They are too busy working on the Mk2 revisions before dealers get stuck with unsellable Mk1s... Hopefully not part of some rumour-hype to artificially inflate demand.Nothing worse than an insult to one's [limited] intelligence.

I like the design.Possibly even more so when I see it in the flesh.Love the little adjustable dock rest pad thing. Did find the youtube presentation agonising to watch! Particularly their "solution" to the lack of Airplay [I wonder if Bang are getting the message yet...] As Paul mentioned,it's bigger than expected,so not sure I could accommodate

Alex, people want an integrated solution. Minimal mains leads. Minimal cables. Not having to rely on a third party device [AE] to distribute content via a network. I have an Airport Express and it limits where I can place a dock or whatever peripheral device. I want to be able to plug and play,no connections, move the device relatively freely [within

to xegoon- no Airplay will cost them sales and referred sales. FACT! As will the price. I'd buy one and recommend to many others [who would do likewise] if it had these bases covered. As it is I'll probably get an alternative/stop-gap - the new Audyssey or an Arcam rCube @ £350 and £500.
