Heard last Friday that deliveries of BeoSound 8 may well be delayed, with many or all stores not getting their full allocations before Christmas.  Massive orders from dealers worldwide, allied with what can only be assumed as bad planning or an unavoidable disaster means that there is a huge undersupply of units.  

This rumour has not been confirmed by B&O, but i had two emails on Saturday, one on Sunday and two so far today saying the exact same thing. No smoke without fire?  I sense a few unhappy dealers and indeed customers if this is the case. Hope not....

 

So Beosound 8 seems to be a strong seller already...

This does not surprise me. I worked for Bango dealer for over 15 years, every time we launched a new product, this happened without fail

Business as usual :-) product launch and delivery before Xmass don't mix in Struer

They are too busy working on the Mk2 revisions before dealers get stuck with unsellable Mk1s...

Hopefully not part of some rumour-hype to artificially inflate demand.Nothing worse than an insult to one's [limited] intelligence.
