He is not the only one. Remember the above video? Cramped but always space for B&O.

I'm also a owner of Beomaster 8000 and 6500. In fact I got 2 of each 4 in total. When the BM8000 is working it sounds wonderfull but the drawbacks are the space it takes. I also have CDX which actually came with the rosewood BM8000 and I do like how it sounds and work owerall combined. Now its not all coolness and ready for listning but rather finding

Very cool Beomaster. I get flashes back to the late '70s. My mom's parents had on of these and I was playing around with the big wheels. It must have laid the B&O virus early on I belive.

This weekend has been an Iron Maiden vinyl enjoyment. Piece of mind Powerslave Somewhere in time.

Well yes I correct my mistake made earlier today. You can get a black MCP for a Beosystem 7000. I would say they are very rare. Anyway I do have 1 Beomaster 6500 with an MCP6500 that I have for spare and really no use. I got 2 Beomaster 6500 with MCP's and Dillen has recently serviced both of them. I don't know the story but white was the extra option with the Beosystem 5500 which Beosystem 6500 also had though the silver/chrome was the standard instead of the mat colour that the Beosystem 5500 had. In order for it to have something speciel to offer other than the Beolink 7000 which was instead of the MCP the difference between the Beosystem

What you have is a MKIII version. It came out in 2001. A 1999 version is most likely a MKII or maybe MKI. The difference is the MKIII can accept n music and n radio out of the box without a need o be updated + it has a pincode. Also the glass and cd mechanics are different on a MKIII model. You can tell the actual version of the BS9000 by lifting the
