Graham. Thanks for this message and perhaps you would be kind enough as to explain how I can get in touch with him either by email or snail mail etc. Regards David

Dear One and All. Firstly 'Best wishes for 2012' to all Forum members. About a couple of years ago I had reason to have my local B&O dealers to repair the CD player, with which the drawer of the player wouldn't open. You could hear it wherring but no opening. They duly repaired it and I suppose I did play a few cd's on it after that

I am considering the task of transferring some VHS tapes, which were last wateched on my VHS 7000 Beocord and some old Vinyl records, which used to be played on my Beosystem 5500, to the more up-to-date DVD. Before emabarking on this task, I would like to hear from Forum members, on their choice of Software and what cables are best used for this purpose

Thank you to all those who have left various messages etc. The problem I understand relates to the fact that the present Beovision 3/32 does not have the current HUMAX box in its listing. This means an upgrade to the back of the TV, so that I can utilise my B&O handset to link-in to the various codes that the HUMAX has as opposed to the SKY box

Nick. No just the basic SKY with all channels, incl Sky sports, but the subscription is going up to £51.00 per month, which is a bit much just to get Sky sports. I'm more concerned about this so called new chip to be put into my Beovision 3, and WHY David

I am pondering on changing my TV reception from the present SKY multiple channels to Freesat. I currently own a Beovision 3 and it has been siggested by a local B&O dealer that to proceed it will mean upgrading my set with a NEW chip, that will work with the HUMAX Freesat box. Why I ask, as my current dish, which will not change, already works with

Dear One and All. I have a Beovision 3/32in set, which is working perfectly OK, but I would like to know how do I find out if there have been any Firmware/Software updates in recent years that may need to be installed into my set. Firstly: how do i find out within the set Menu system, what it already has installed and then Secondly: if there is a need

Thanks for all the replies so far, but can someone advise me on the Hardware needed and to where it should be connected to my 5500 system. David
-
I am hoping that someone maybe able to advise me, what is the best way and relative Hardware and Software that I can use to transfer my existing stock of Vinyl LP's etc from my B & O 5500 to a Windows XP computer. One of the problems I envisage is the wiring between the B & O and my computer, which are some distance apart in different rooms

Graham Thanks for your message, its seems that I have to have the volume level on the DAB at Maximum via the input to be able to hear things at a reasonable level or output thru my B&O. David
