  • Re: My B & O House Setup

looks nice Carl, but probably the thin end of the wedge I am afraid ! I'm a bit luckier than you ( well for now I am ) as they recently closed the St Albans branch in North London near to one of my biggest clients, so I have been saved in 2009 from splashing out :-)

the Sony PS3 is also listed under the STB-C list for Western Europe and Central Europe, for those of us with older Beovisions like Avant etc. I also can say the Nyko is very good at controlling the PS3, pity they don't sell the USB stick on its own, what did you do with the black Nyko remote Carl ??

  • Re: Beo4 and Marmitek to control lighting

I agree, it's madness, but it looks like the Light Manager Pro could be just the job for me, I was hoping that someone might be using it on Beoworld before I buy it :-) the tight integration with the Beo4 seems pretty good to me http://www.jbmedia.de/mambo/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=42&Itemid=1&limit=1&limitstart

  • Re: RL 140 tweeter replacement

well done Stephen, they are super speakers when they are in tip top condition they should really be identical mirrors of each other, so you need to know which one to copy, so they end up both right - do you have the proper stands to sit them on as well ??

  • Re: IR Capture

Kammeri, that looks interesting, will look into IRScope a bit more <Quote>Could this help (USB IR Widget 29$) ? Basically it should give the same output for programming reasons as the Lintronic box does, although I am not aware of the post processing procedure of the signal. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Re: Beo4 and Marmitek to control lighting

or maybe better is Light Manager Pro for 179 euros Transform your remote control into a Home-Automation Commander! Why only control the TV or DVD-Player if so much more is possible. With the Light Manager you can additionally switch on/off your lighting. - Dim the light - Shut the beamer screen off - Control electrical blinds - Control up to 256 wireless
