  • Re: BeoSystem 3 and Plasma Panel Types

Firstly one can enter a very big debate about what makes the commercial plasma better. Im really not sure the difference is as great as made out. The B&O man will tell you they are 'hand selected panels' where they meet the highest criteria. Im really not sure on that one - and does it justify doubling the price!! The beo 4 works with this

  • Re: Lutron

They are a far better engineered product than the LC2 ever was and more reliable as well. As well as the points listed already you can operate curtains and screens from it ( which I do) and you can program fade and and fade out times on every scene, control any type of load ect

  • Re: Looking for; Earset 2 experience & new mobile phone ideas

As to the Nokia 8800 Im on my 4th replacement. All seem to illiminate for no reason and the audio quality is bad. here is a part review-- The battery life of the 8800 is really quite poor. It does improve after a few full charging cycles, but is shockingly bad in the early days. Memory is adequate at 64 Mbytes, but not really sufficient to make full

  • Re: BeoSystem 3 and Plasma Panel Types

chrisped: Hi All & BeoSystem 3 owners (I am soon to be one) The panels that work really well with a BeoSystem 3 are the Panasonic D7, D8, & D9 - is this correct? Panasonic has come out with a new range of displays and more is to come over the summer - the panel is called G10 - how well will this panel work with a BeoSystem 3? Best guesses /

Well actually the input from Prada makes for a menu sytem which is very good indeed and far removed from LG menus of old- As to style - well its a personal thing - actually I quite like it! Yes, your right! LG does make washing machines and hoovers ect as does panasonic and samsung- mmm -the very brands that form the backbone of all B&O video equipment

  • Re: Serene...is it worth £800???

It is Definately not worth the money. in fact the honest B&O dealers I know think its a joke. Its interesting that most indiciduals who own one also have another back up. I had one for 3 months before I sold it on ebay . I really cant understand why one would want one today at that kind of money. if you want a stylish handset with superb menus look
