I belive the MMC20 series were briefly sold as the MMC10 in the USA but they are basically the same cartridges. Simon

Seldom has more rubbish been spoken in a single paragraph than here: http://www.furutech.com/news/e-TP%20609(News)-2006.htm "The 2-Step Alpha Cryogenic and Demagnetizing Process works in tandem with other designed-in features to create the most optimized AC power transfer possible. [quote user="Medogsfat"] There are two S45 speaker versions - the S45 & S45-2. You really want to be looking for the 45-2's as these have rubber surrounds on the bass drivers. The S45's have foam surrounds which will have disintegrated & will need refoaming (unless they have already been done). I don't know how good your

I like the cube too, but i the shelf placement oin the first picture doesn't work for me, I like it much more in Soundproof's picture as a freestanding unit and the echoes of the 80's and 90's Beosystems is very pleasing. Simon

Here in the UK you would expect to make at least double or possibly treble that amount by selling privately, so upgrading in the way you describe doesn't seem very cost-effective to me! Simon

John Aren't we just arguing the difference between sounding fine and optimal? Ben may well find that there are better amps out there for his speakers (I am not doubting your advice on this!) , but he didn't ask what the best amp for these speakers is, he wanted to know if the 6500/MS150 combination would work and I very much doubt that he will

I agree with most of the posts here. It is commonly forgotten that most listening in a domestic setting takes place at around 2-3 watts, so I cannot foresee any problems driving the M150's with a Beomaster 6500. Simon
