Hi there Although the VX7000 is still going strong I am thinking about upgrading to a hard disk recorder, but I cannot live with an extra remote from a Japanese brand. As I see it the solutions are: HRD1: Should work with mx6000, but old and a bit expensive for what it is. HDR2: Does not work with mx6000 as far as I know Other brand recorder: modified

A very nice update
OH NO!! The clock on my wrist is based on the 12 hour concept, too. If someone asks me the time I'll just show them my wrist clock and let them figure it out, don't want to seem old world.
Fortunately my Festina wrist chronograph has a small 24 hour dail in the upper right part..
The salesman told me introduction October 2009, price BeoCom 6000 + 100 Euro........
That is certainly not as insane as it could be... Can the beocom5 be used with the beoline PSTN base as the Beocom6000? br Christian

Now this looks interesting... Can anyone remind me what the technical specifications were? br Christian

Thankt Stefan, I'll give it at go. Could it work with a Beocenter 9000 or are these too old? On the other hand, I might as well try, I suppose I cannot destroy anything. best regards Christian

the BV1 got active speakers with both a treble and a bass-midrange unit, the mx 4002/4200 only got passive full-range units. br Chr

What about the driver units in the Beolab 3500, does they have the same problem? br Chr

Hi there I am thinking about setting up a beomaster 3500 as link slave in one room and masterlinking it to the ouverture in the other room via a converter type 1611, is this possible? Best regards Christian

Yes it is a pity with the 6000, and that is what prevents me from buying a pair. I love my BL4000 (first prize a year ago ), they really seem a perfect mix of sound, design and built quality. br Chr

Thanks, I didn't know these were part of the included extras. I asked a dealer, he told me he could order them for £40 each. br Christian
