MX6000 and hard disk recorder, possible solutions?

Hi there

Although the VX7000 is still going strong I am thinking about upgrading to a hard disk recorder, but I cannot live with an extra remote from a Japanese brand. As I see it the solutions are:

HRD1: Should work with mx6000, but old and a bit expensive for what it is.

HDR2: Does not work with mx6000 as far as I know

Other brand recorder: modified to take Beolink commands, if possible.

am I missing something?

Get an DVD-C fitted and there are a number of models available that will work.
