I recently acquired an RX on Ebay which wasn't mechanically functioning. Removing the bottom panel I found one of the wires leading to the touch control pad had seperated from its terminal, a simple soldering and it was good to go. It now works as supposed to except for one quirk. When pressing 33 or 45 rpm the tonearm goes to where it supposed

Dear Chris, Thank you for getting back to me on this. It looks like I'll have to send the cartridge out for a new cantilever, I understand buying a used or old stock MMC is risky. Perhaps I can fabricate an adapter such as a square plastic holder having male MMC sized pins on one side with female p-mount receptacle pins on the other. Regards, Gabriel

I've a RX turntable with a MMC5 cartridge that I'd like to convert to accept other B&O cartridges or brands of cartridges, preferably p-mount. Is there an adapter available to do this, if so, where can it be obtained? Thank you for your help!
