    Beogram RX Turntable

I recently acquired an RX on Ebay which wasn't mechanically functioning. Removing the bottom panel I found one of the wires leading to the touch control pad had seperated from its terminal, a simple soldering and it was good to go. It now works as supposed to except for one quirk. When pressing 33 or 45 rpm the tonearm goes to where it supposed to, drops to the record but then wants to return back to its starting position. Checking the arm movement there wasn't any resistance or mechanical interference, it seems gravity is pulling it back. The tonearm is properly balanced and set to 1.5g, the odd antiskating appears fixed at the factory so I didn't mess with it. A service manual for this deck would also be very helpful. SmileAny help on this is most appreciated.

First thing, open the deck, clean and oil/grease all moving parts, clean the switches, check/change caps.

There is a manul onsite for silver and gold members.
