As far as I remember, the restor function resets the beo5 to the configuration loaded to it. Within the setup dialog you may hide or show buttons in your configuration. Restore simply removes your modifications. hfat

OK, I just read your latest post. So let's try the following (from the FAQ), asuming you have only a Beo5 at hand and no Beo4. Option programming with Beo5/Beo6: While holding the • button, press the centre button to bring up the SETUP menu on Beo5/Beo6. Let go of both buttons. Press ‘Option Pgm’ to bring up the Option Programming

B&O Products have different options to react when receiving IR signals. These are V.Opt for video products, A.Opt for audio products and L.Opt for link room products. These Options are from 0 to 6. Option programming is done with Beo4 or Beo5/6. Usually when you have only one B&O product in a room, you set Option 1. Factory setting for Beosound

Although it cannot be selected from the list, you can add it manually by entering SHIFT into to command field and clicking add. hfat

Hello, In the main room I use 2 BV10-SCART connected 238-boxes for controlling devices not in the PUC list (XBMC Multimedia PC, Sony BDP). One for controlling BS2/JVC Beamer Combo. All in a hidden installation. In the link room I use Lintronic to control a BeoSystem 2/Panasonic VT30 combo with local Samsung BDP and BeoMedia1. All-in-all about 500 lines
