The transceiver is connected to the MCL 2 AV through a bundle of coloured cables. The green one is the cable that gives power to the transceiver. But it does not give any power. Your setup differs from mine in the way that I don't have beolab, but instead MCL 2 P + passive speakers. What is this special PL cable? If have a MkIII powerlink cable
-
It is connected to the MCL 2 P via a DC cable.

Setup is cables from beomaster 5500 to the MCL 2 AV. Then powerlink to MCL 2 P. Transceiver is connected. I don't see an LED at all. The green lead that gives power to the transceiver doesn't give any current.

I understand what you're saying. That is exactly the way I connected it. The MCL2AV gets its power from the MCL 2 P, but I don't get a standby light on the transceiver

I bought a second hand MCL2 AV, but I think it might be broken. There is a current coming in from my MCL2 P, but I don't see a standby light op the transceiver. How can I be sure if it's broken or not? Please help!

Hi Steve, Thanks for the offer, but I think I am first gonna let my electronics store nearby take a look at it. If they fail, I'll contact you. Keep me updated! Nico

Does anybody know exactly what kind of DC cable has to be used to connect a MCL2 AV to an MCL2 P? I don't have that cable, so I'd like to get one somewhere.
