Hi Pete, I have the same problem. Check Peter's answer in this thread . Apparently it has to do with some sort of gearbox (so not much to be done yourself unfortunately) My unit has been doing so now and then for 3 years now. Maybe I should bring it to service but as I don't use CDs or DVDs much, I have not bothered yet... Please keep us posted

Hello Peter, would they look like this one ? (the front of this one is same as BL active/passive : Timer/up/down/play buttons)

I cannot believe no one on this forum knows what IR Eye this is! Come on, technical wizards...
-
I know... it is not the regular one with 5 connectors. I am wondering what version that is. When I searched the forum I found that (somewhat old) thread related to IR eye for Beoport. You'll find at the end of the thread someone managed to have a "normal" puck work with Beoport. All it needs is finding the +5v, IR data, and ground connections

Hi there, Could you please help me with the following: - which IR Eye version is this ? It has 6 connectors (3x2) on the back, and the common "Timer, up, down, Play" buttons - will it work with Beoport ? - if so, which connections to use to connect it to the 3.5 jack ? Thank you

As far as I know, MkII has no HDMI, and I was wondering whether there was any Apple-Remote PUC update at all for MkII
-
Sorry if this has been adressed before. Did some searching into old posts without success... Is it possible to connect an AppleTV (either 1G or 2G) to an MkII BV7-40 and control it via PUC ? Side question (well, sort of...): is it wise today to buy a second-hand MkII BV7 ? Main usage would be watching tv/vod through adsl set top box and (audio)master

Hello Phil Any plan to get it to work with Tiger ? btw, I join to everybody here to praise this great work Regards

Hi, I have a mac mini G4 1.25ghz upgraded to 1Go RAM as a media center (with extra external HD storage space). It works just fine connected to a Beoport (with BM-Link) in playing and controlling my iTunes music library over the ML network. It is also connected to my (LOEWE) LCD TV via a DVI connection and I must say the picture quality is very good
