Hi

Sorry to make the first post a question.  My Beocenter 2 has just started 'playing up' in that it used to swing the 'wings open, raise the CD cover and light up to enable me to laod a cd.  Now, when I press load, the wings open but the cover stays closed and lights remain off.  If I press 'load' again, the cover opens up momentarily before closing again along with the wings.  If you can get a cd in during the brief open perion, all is well.....

Anyone any ideas on how I can sort it out?

I have the same problem. Check Peter's answer in this thread. Apparently it has to do with some sort of gearbox (so not much to be done yourself unfortunately)

My unit has been doing so now and then for 3 years now. Maybe I should bring it to service but as I don't use CDs or DVDs much, I have not bothered yet...

Please keep us posted if you have it repaired
