Hi thanks for the tip - do I do this before I apply a config file i.e. the charger being connected to the PC via USB or following the application of a config file? many thanks

Hi, yes the wheel works fine. The issue is confined to the standby, fast forward, stop and right keys only.

yes - these are the standard commands created by the software - they are the physical buttons on the device and the issue is consistent no matter what is selected.

Hi Oliver, thanks for the swift response. I have reapplied the file several times. I never receive an error message in the configuration tool itself the configuration software appears to be applied successfully. Unfortunatley I always see the 'USB device not regonised' bubble in Windows and find that the usage of the 'standby', 'fast

Whenever I apply a config file to my Beo6 using Configuration Software 4.11 I receive the 'USB Device Not Recognised' message in the ballon whilst the Beo6 appears to power down and power back up as part of the 'configuration download' process. Whilst the configuration file appears to have been applied successfully on usage I find that

I have tried every permutation of restarting the device and reapplying my Beo 6/Beo 5 profile and am still experiencing issues with the stop, fast forward and standby buttons on the Beo6. I have reinstalled the config tool, Windows 7, recreated my Beo 6/Beo 5 from scratch with little success. Any further advice anyone could provide here would be great

To be clear I do the following to fix this issue: 1) Turn off the device (hold power for 3 secs) 2) connect to PC (with Beo6 still off?) 3) Launch the Config Tool (which turns the Beo 6 back on) 4) Re download the configuration or Hi, thanks for the quick response. Hi, I have the Beo6 and Config Tool 4.11. I am experiencing the intermittent loss of control of some of the physical keys on the Beo6 (the standby and stop key notably) and I am unclear as to if this is a software or a hardware issue. Hi, I always backup my existing Beo5 configuration file (using the export feature on the tool) then remove the old Config Tool in Windows, delete the B&O folder and sub folders from my c:\, then install the latest Config Tool before importing the my existing Beo5 configuration file. Doing things this way I've never encountered any difficulties
