  • Beolab 5 cannot work properly with MX7000....

Well yesterday my "second-life" Beolab 5's were delivered and installed by the B&O dealer. Absolutely gorgeous and I'm a happy man, but.... I turned out the BL5 cannot be connected without clicking problems to my 1999 MX7000 (clicks upon e.g. volume control) and my near perfect...

  • MX7000 TV will not turn on

I have 10 year old MX7000 tv which is on standby but when I try to turn it on with the remote, the red light momentarily turns to green then immediately back to red and thus fails to turn on. This is now a permanent situation whereas in the previous months it would simply turn itself off without warning...

  • MX7000 cabinet

Hello B&O friends, Just joined this forum as a happy MX7000 owner since 1992 (type 3380). Picture and sound are unbelievable, even by today's standards. So, I got myself a second one (type 7800) in 1996 and now a third one (type 8700), to replace the first one. My question: can I change the back...

  • Help needed for MX7000 !!!

Hello, I just bought a Beovision MX7000, an old classic from 1992 or so. But now when I home and have turned on the TV the picture is really overexposed, in every channel, with pale colors. I think that the picture is slightly darker in the right side of the screen even. I´v tested changing the...

  • Re: early MX7000 +beo4 - setting the clock

Press [Play] twice to display the time on the screen. Key in the time (24-hour clock) on the keypad. Press [Store] twice… I seem to recall that TV was initially designed to work with either the BeoLink 1000 or 5000 remotes. Hope this helps.

  • Can a Beolink 5000 operate a DVD1 connected to a MX7000? And is €300 for a DVD1 a good price?

    1) I got my fingers in a brand new (10 years old - but new in box) Beolink 5000. The reason for choosing this remote is that I have a Beocenter2300 and two LC2's. But will this remote operate a B&O DVD1? 2) Presently I do not own a DVD1. But I just got one offered at a price of I just got DVD1...

  • Use active speakers in MX-7000 with IPod, Squeezebox etc.

I want to connect a Squeezebox or an Ipod to a MX-7000 television, so when I turn on the Ipod the active speakers in the tv turns on. It would be nice if it worked the same way when turning the Ipod off. Does anybody have an idea have this can be solved? Best Regards Lars
