    Beo5 Configuration on a Mac

Have any Mac users had experiences (good or bad) with using the Beo5 Configuration Software on a Mac by way of Windows running on Virtual PC?

It does not work with VM Ware for me... the sofware runs but cannot "see" the remote on the USB.

    Thanks for your feedback guys!

I know that when configuring the Lintronic device on Virtual PC, it was a little tricky to get Windows to recognize the cable, but with some adjustments to Windows it could be done.

    Hi Stefan!

Did you do anything special to make this work?

    XP Pro?

What version of the config soft did you use?

    Best Regards

    Ola

Re: Beo5 Configuration on a Mac

    Hi Ola,

no, nothing special. Windows XP Home, Config Tool 1.00, Serialiser Vers. 0.35. Because of USB connection issues I had to update Parallels Desktop to 3.0. Beo 5 must be powered off before being placed into the charger. Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Stefan
