I have the same problem, it's drainning the battery. But I only have software version 1.30a. Are you sure it's 1.32a?

The latest firmware update is 1.32a. The firmware is what is loaded into the Beo5.

The Configuration software remains at version 1.30

Hi, the problem should be solved in the SW released today or tommorow, i talked to B&O today, since i found a bug in SW 1.32a. The bug was that if you only changed the volume and then set the remote down, the display would not turn of until you pressed a button other than the volume slider.

I am having mine upgraded tommorow, so looking forward to that.

I thought I was the only one that had this problem. At least, it's not my Be5 fault. Another bug is happenning with mine: if I press the Left or Right button on Stand menu, light comes down and it turns on again to stay on till i press another button.

firmware version 1.34 has been released.... solving mentioned problems.

Will be downloaded into the Beo5 Config tool when logged in to the Bang & Olufsen retail/dealer site and installed into the Beo5 during serialization.

Well, that's a problem for me. I can't login to the Bang & Olufsen retail/dealer site.

Question: when I copy the files from the 'Bang & Olufsen\Beo5 Configuration Tool\Firmware\' directory from my dealer (after he has download the firmware once) and put the files on my PC. Will that do the job for firmware version 1.34?

So if I understand correctly, you want to change your current five "1.30 / 1.32" .bin-files from the Firmware-directory , for the "1.34" .bin-files you get from your dealer?

And some other files. Only the bin-files is not enough. I think its possible.

Do you know which other files are needed?

    Doc,

    I am busy with it.

Besides the firmware directory I think the Beo5ct.exe.config, both serialize files and maby the Beo5ct.xmlserializers.dll

What would help is a directory listing of the ../Bang & olufsen/Beo5 configuration tool and the firmware directory from someone who has firmware 1.34 installed (with filenames, size and time stamp).

Who has it??????  Sent it to me, please!!

Tell me where to find the firmware in the Beo5 file, and I will extract it. I couldn't find it in the firmware file - it seems to go directly onto the Beo5 when it is attached to the dealer site.

Re: Bugs in SW 1.32a ?!

I thought that when you are connected it downloads the firmware to the folder named "Firmware" inside the installation folder?

Here's a screenshot from my Firmware folder... (Config tool v1.30)

If the firmware is not downloaded to the firmware directory, than we have a problem to get it.

If so, the dealer cannot do updates offline (at the customers site with his laptop).
