Hi and welcome to tis wonderfull forum.  You are right those 4 holes are for mounting a face plate for wall mount or one for seeling Also they can be used for the floorframe.

You could use flatpanel mounts, but you can ask member Leslie here on the forum, maybe he can help you with original mounts.

The 4 M5 threaded holes on the speaker back plate is just for an incline adjusting screw, to hang them on the wall you will need this.

The upper plate is the one that hooks into the speaker, in the middle you see the swivel mount, thats optional, lowest is the wall plate, the plate with the hooks can be mounted directly on the wall plate, and the speakers will be mounted flat on the wall. The pic I stole from Leslie.

I wish i could find the org mounts sadly i do not have them was trying to make some kind of make shift mount maybe parts from a flatpanel tv mount was hoping the 4 empty screw holes on the back of the rl 140 would be able to hold and support the speaker but sounds like they might not be strong enough still racking my brain on it want to find away to do it before i move to the new apartment. got a wallmount that has hooks that mounts to a stud might be able to have it clip on it not sure if it will work. the fun of owning older speakers lol

you will have to make 2 of these and fasten them to your wall mount
