Is there anyone out there that could tell me how i can tell apart a MK1 from a MK2 and MK3 on BEOSOUND 9000 (6 cd) either physically or functionally or maybe year of manufacture - what are the differences ?????????????????????????????

The MK I model is upgradeable for N-Music

The MK II model is upgradeable also

The MK III has a different CD mechanism and PIN code security. The glass plate has also undergone several updates as the earlier ones tended to come loose.

From the type number printed on the label under the keyboard!

Mk1 is 252*

Mk2 is 256*

Mk3 is 257*

where * depends on the country of use and is 2 for UK models.

The mark 1 certainley had the red on/off button. At some point in production this was removed. It was re-introduced last year to comply with legislation regarding power consumption, so mark 3's have this button now.

Not all MK3 have the pincode.

Your keyboard needs to be exchanged.... CAPS, ?, ! and P don't seem to work anymore.
