    Help with power lead?

Product - Beocord 1500 Reel to Reel

Problem - Someone has emailed me (UK Based) who has lost the power lead for his product as listed above.

Never seen this connection before - where can he get one?

    Re: Help with power lead?

There were some japanese receivers that used the same power plug.
I don't remember exactly if it was Technics, Panasonic or JVC.
    1980's or late 1970's, I think.

I believe it was a standard mains plug somewhere in the world. Something like the
one on the lower left here:

    Trying to assist further...

Based on Martin's response they are available on Ebay but in packs of 10. Maybe CPC or Maplins might be better.

This is presuming Martin's correct.......if the guy buys them and they turn out not to be right it's all Martin's faultBig Smile

    Re: Help with power lead?

    Gulp.  Surprise

The plug should be a female.

    This is an original cable:

The part of the housing that plugs into the socket on the Beocord is square with rounded
    corners and apprx. 21mm x 12mm
The pins are flat and apprx 5mm wide and placed apprx 10mm apart (center to center).
Maybe a Beoworld member can recognize it ?

    Oops,

Ignore my input - I thought the picture Lee posted showed a female socket.

If you do a search in EBAY but for a Revox power lead, you'll find what you need
