White in white, why not maroon or a deep burgundy color

Thanks for posting that! I've been thinking about getting a maroon speaker grill for my black Avant. I think the result would be similar. If only B&O had made a maroon speaker cover for the BeoLab 8000.

In the MEDIA section (Press MEDIA button in the MENU above) there is now a new title called "FLASH YOUR B&O"

All registered members of ALL levels have permissions to upload pictures into this section.

Currently there is only ONE sub-section called "Members Pictures" but additional sections can be added perhaps by "Product Groups" or similar. Let me know everyones general view on what section by name should be added to "FLASH YOUR B&O"

    Regards Keith....

Thanks Keith, but it might be difficult to maintain a conversation that way

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Re: Flash your B&O!

I made a visit to my local B&O shop to buy some new powerlink cables. I was also presented a lot of left-overs and old oddities, so finally I left the shop with an extra BL5000 wall bracket (with box, unused) and most interestingly, this:

That's right, a white Beolink 1000, not home-made! Working, but horribly dirty and sticky. The battery holder is present and fine. I decided to give this remote a special service so I disassembled it and cleaned every part, even replaced the two electrolytic caps on the board. Now it looks much more presentable:

It's not perfectly mint, there is a small chip to the top-right and the rear side is not perfect, but it's still stunning.

Now if I just could resolve the problem of what to do with all these remotes... Embarrassed As I write this I have six B&O remotes at hand!!!

    What a find !
That is a rare piece and in wonderful condition (after the cleaning) .
I have one in my own collection and I've often wondered if there would be others.
I won't tell you what I've been offered for mine, I will just advice you to take great care of it, which
I'm sure you do.  Yes - thumbs up

Actually, our very own product guide states that it was available in black/silver only.
We will have to change that.
    Here's mine:

One must have the remotes to complete the sets !!!

Recently picked me up a pair of white CX-100 in pretty good shape cosmetically and the surrounds are still together but sticky to the touch.

I will plead the 5th Amendement on that one Soren, What I will say is that nor all of my B&O remotes are in the photo, only what would fit.

    haha eugene,

very good one, I checked the 5th amendement, there are various passages I would refer to if I had to justify my BEO collection.

    The Form-2!

    Happy Birthday Evan.

A few minutes ago I arrived back at home from my local BEO Dealer were I had a nice presentation of the BeoVision 4 85.

Despide of the problems I have without wearing my glasses I like it a lot.  Might be something which I going to consider as my new TV.

But today I went home with just the Earset3i which I also like a lot.

I bet that 4-85 is really something! Knowing how good the A8 is, I would expect nothing less of the 3i Yes - thumbs up

But what kind of antenna had been added? Or is it only a base for some other equipment on your head?

Was hosting a party last week, had set up the primary system in my parents' living room.

The 8000 + MS150.2's sounds way better in a large room (40 square metres) compared to my own room of 16 square meters.
