Friedmett:
I still got som cable mess to get rid off.
Very nice stuff, looks like you are tripping over B&O!
Reminds me of my setups, too many cables to hide!

Lex Lance:
Wow, that is some thread - great work. Looks very tempting to do the same but my panels are too good still.
I would love to see an Beocord 4500 added to the mix....
Thank you Lex.
I would like everyone to preserve their panels as much as possible, but in my case, not so much. Mine were terrible.
The BeoCord would look great with this, but I do not have one. Even if I did, I would have nothing to play through it. No Tapes! I missed that generation.
That 3.5mm plug really shows that Nano's dimension! So small! Sound good, Lex?

Nice setup, but I would place the TV inline with the speakers.

Very funny! Love the movie lines. .
It would be a little too instrusive in to the room. .
I have the room wired for 5.1 (this setup)
or I can put the tv on the wall to the right of the photographer angle and do 7.1; where the TV and speakers are in line.
The great thing about the BV9/BS3 chassis is I can adjust the distance b/w the viewer and speakers to correct for the differences!

In honour of Patrick Swayze, I couldn't resist.
I'm sure you've placed the TV in the best position. I haven't seen the room irl, just a photo of a part of it.

beocool: I got one of those a month ago, too. Very nice cd-rack! Some info here.
Yes that rack is very cool! Always wanted one and finally bought one only 4 hours ago...

I couldn't help thinking that those 2 speakers look like a pair of Daleks. Not sure if Dr Who ever made it to the USA, but the Englishmen will know!
Maybe the Daleks were B&O's inspiration.......

Actually, they don't ...
I used the same analogy, until I looked at a Dalek. There's substance to the shape of BL5s, as the function has dictated the shape - which was a change in B&O design philosophy. Usually, the B&O engineers have had to fit the function inside the form that was designed - whereas with the BL5s, the function dictates the form and structure, down to the choice of acoustically neutral plastic-resins in the skirt, which has the conical shape to avoid standing waves.
No, they're definitely not Daleks. They are expressive functional sculptures, to my eyes. (But then I also own a pair of BL5s, and I'm not entirely objective.)
