Definitively, Beosystem 4500's glass pannels fall off. Mine was very loose, just about to fall off when I realized.  So I glued it again following one of Beoworld thread's instructions and changed the set up into a horizontal display and covered the mess on the wal with a picture.

I first thought that it was a window! Very nice setup!!!

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

    Very nice :)

Never get tired of looking at MS150.2s. Lovely speakers. I really like the pair of lamps you have too. Are they from the 1960s/70s? I have a few vintage lamps myself, and really like these :)

    thnx.

The lamps are indeed "original" 70's lamps. We like the 60's/70's styling and lamps are a part of it. :)

The 150's are rather big though (but that improves the sound quality), thank god they are pretty indeed. I had to remove the front cloth panels because of the new kitten, but even then they look good with the silver line around the drivers.

This is a part of my collection. I also have a Beosound 9000 in my workspace, connected to set of Beolab 6000. Als a complete Beosystem 6500, a Beocenter 9500, a Beolit 707, a Beosystem 10, a set of LC2 controllers, ... these are all in my workspace, but since it's a total mess in there at this moment, I didn't want to make pictures in there. Maybe I will post an update when I cleaned it...

    @ Beo freak,

I realy like what you've done to the place, very special! espacialy the diner set and the rocking chair look great. a very daring floor print too that turns out very caracterfull (is that a word?). I think older B&O gear would look better though...hehe (sry, I'm an old stuff freak ;) )

    @ Premiumverum,

I just took a look at my lamps for a brand or something, but it doesn't say anything... I know they have been produced by many numers and here in The Netherlands you can still find a lot of them on on the dutch E-bay-like websites. Although orange is a bit harder to find or some reason. I think a lot of people just tosted them away in the 80's/90's. I know that smaller lookalikes are still produced.

ah! here is one for axample: http://link.marktplaats.nl/388217691

and here a shop with new ones: http://www.rietveldlicht.nl/vloerlamp---staande-lamp-3110.html

EDIT: now I see you're from the Netherlands, good luck with your bidding on marktplaats. :)

    oh... talking about flashing:

Don't mind the poor sound quality, it sounds better in real life. ;)

(sry about the plop and the squeek of the record player, still need to take it apart, but for now it will do)

Beogram 4000, 4002, 8000, 8002. Sorry, got rid of all the rest.

Thanks a lot! The floorprint was already in the house when we bought it. It's the original 1930s French stone floor. This was actually one of the main reasons why we bought the house... I know the old stuff would look better in a house like this, but we had this setup when were living in our previous house and I just can't sell it to buy something else... It's as if it became a part of my life (sure some other members know what I mean).

I do like the mix of old and modern anyway... And I do like the style of your house as well!! Fifties, sixties and seventies were really a great period with awesome pieces of furniture!

Let's get some videos in this thread. This is an old one and so far my only B&O content on youtube.

It was just a test done with my then new digital Canon Ixus 80 IS which I still got.

Yes my former living space was cramped.

All of this exept Beovox M150 were serviced by Dillen.
