Beovox S60+Beomaster 4000+Beogram 4002
Beautiful and I bet it sounds/sounded fantastic.
On an unrelated, Personal Holy Grail note: Sigh...still no photographic evidence of The Precious in a working system...
Current primary listening: SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70

Still working like the first day, believe me. You are right, the sound is fabulous. I've never understood why it sounds so well. I know one tends to idealize the first BeoLove, but definitively, this system has something misterious inside. Others came up during these years, but they are not the same.
By the way, why do you call it The Precious?

Oh, sorry....
"The Precious" is a reference to Gollum and The Lord of the Rings.
"The Precious" is what I call the BeoMaster 4401. One day I hope to own one but apparently I'm more likely to own a live Loch Ness Monster, Flying Saucer, or Yeti.
That doesn't stop me from shouting out once in awhile: "We must have it! We must have The Precious."

Little off topic:
@ Kawo and PeterPan, which type of tensioned screen do you use?

Beobuddy, it's a Davision 4D Multiformat.
http://www.kinozuhause.de/davision_multiformat.php
The manufactor is a italian company and the screen is sold under different brands/names across Europe. So the one above is sold in Germany/Austria.
Unfortunately the quality is not matching the price point they are asking for. Next time I would go with a Stewart Filmscreen. Cost a fortune but it is worth it.

Couldn't resist but did I see the first Dire Straits LP lying there on the shelf?
Must sound excellent on this system

Peter can probably verify whether that is Dire Straits - that must be a nice place to listen to music.
Meanwhile - I've just returned home after picking up something that will replace my Beogram 4000 next to my Beolab 5000.
Here's a stealth shot in candlelight - more will follow tomorrow in the vintage thread.

The record on is actually 10CC's Deceptive Bends, and I was playing "The Things We Do for Love."
I've been sussed.

Yeah, a great setup you have there. I also like the Aalto and Rietveld chair.

Wow looking stunning I must admit!
My current flat is work in progress regarding how it should be decorated and designed. Last week I got my first pair of Beolabs. Now I can enjoy the full AV9000 experience. About a week and a half ago I had great trip to Copenhagen. First got a Beogram 6500 in Odense and then another BM6500, BC6500 and MCP6500. To top it of after I met Dillen who got both BM6500 and BC6500 for service I met a guy at the main train station in Copenhagen with a Beosound 9000 2001 MKII or so I could tell as he said there were no pincode. Anyway got it home. Cleaned it and it worked. ML to AV9000 and currently my Beogram 6500 to aux. It turns out that its actually a MKIII version. The seller never used it. Type is 2571 so an early MKIII. It came with the horizontal wall bracket but I have yet to decide where to pu it.
I still got som cable mess to get rid off.

With all the cables needed, I'll never buy an electric guitar
Beosound 3000, BL 4000, BL 8000, BG 2404,BG 5000, BG CD50, Beocord 5000, BM 901, BM 2400, BM 4000, BV S45, BV 3702. There is nothing we cannot do, but a lot of things we don't want to do!!

That's x number of years of different cables you get from every day use.
So far its been cables for pc's, some ML, some antenna, some guitar cables etc.
These days its one cable between guitar and amp most of the time.
