    Beocord 4500 cable

I bought a nicly looking Beocord 4500 just for £10 yesterday. It has on problem, the cable is cut off at a lenght about 15 cm. How shall I begin with this. Is there anything I can use in splicing the cable, what type of cable etc??

Which cable has been cut - the power cord or the connector?

    Chris.

    It is the connector  cable.

The power cord would not have been a problem.

I was just going through the MCL manuals here the other day.

One of them says the Audio AUX link cable is the same as it has 2 ways of transporting data.

A good dealer should be able to get it.

In that case I may be able to help. I have a non-working BC3300 which I can de-solder the cable from & send if it is any use. I'm fairly sure it will do the job although I've never opened a 4500.
