BeoMaster 1900 does it support datalink?

    Hi everyone

looking at buying a BM1900 off ebay. Seller claims all is working fine except one light for the balance slider which doesnt appear a big issue. My question is, does this unit support datalink? ie with the correct turntable will the BM start turntable playback when the phono input is selected? I believe the BM2400 will do this and I also believe the only difference between them is the actual ultrasonic remote control, hence wondering if the 1900 will still provide datalink functionality.

    Thanks

    Andrew

No it does not, and the 2400-2 does not use Datalink either - only a proto version that is only fitted to very few decks - 2400/2/4 and 4004.

oh okay, I was under the impression the remote of the BM 2400-2 would start the record playing when the Phono input was selected... I must be getting my receivers mixed up... Thanks for the help Peter :)
