it does overrule the pin code. it is applied for when you have lost the origional pin

could be that you have been given the mastercode, they are 5 digits. leave the television on the mains for more than 8 hours to give yourself another go. turn the tv on then press and hold the left arrow. this will then prompt you for the 5 digit pin.

I do have that problem on some installs. May be the Beo4 is too sensitive, doesn't happen all the time.

its more a slot on the bottom of the bracket. You could drill to the left or right at an angle so it would come out at the side of the stud.

I have fitted a pair for a customer on a partition wall. Managed to get good fixings with quality dry wall fixings(the type that you use a setting tool with). They look really good on a wall. I now have a pair for my 6000's. Just waiting to rearrange the room to fit them.

Sounds a bit steep. When carrying out an install I only charge a fraction of that. Would expect to receive at least 20 stations, obviously depends on the strength of the signal in your area.
