  • Re: Anyone in Göteborg for the presentation of the BS5 ?

Hello Trip! Thanks for your input. This is interresting on several points as it differs greatly from what was said at the show. I was especially interrested in your "point 1". I asked several times about this (as that would be a good solution for me). The answer I got from several BO-representatives was "No. The units (BM5 and BS5) are

I'd like to shed a little light.. I was on the presentation in Malmö last night and the event was nice (with food, drinks, Eric Gadd and the works..). I'm a pretty "deep into it" BO-guy with a system costing about 100.000 USD (multiple TVs, speakers, links etc.). My oldest and "most likely to replace"-item is an Overture

  • Re: Who orderd a BS 5?

This is interresting. The events in Sweden are planned for dates all before the 11:th. :) (http:// www.beoevent.se ). The one I'm invited to is onm the 6:th of November. Will try to get some pictures from the event and "beat" the world wide launch planned for the 11:th.. :) On the subject of if/when to buy - I still haven't heard anything

  • Re: Problems with BV4-50/Beosystem 3 setup. No picture.

Actually this is not solved yet. I was unable to get it working and had to call in BO-service. They arrived to realize they hadn't a clue (they did the same tests as I had already done). They asked to come and collect it (which they did a couple of days later, brought the plasma as well as the BS3) and have had it since.. (2+ weeks now). They eventually

Thanks alot for the input! I went to work and borrowed a 24" widescreen TFT-monitor with DVI (to test if the BS3 actually output something) to find out that the problem seems to be with the panel/display (the TFT got picture from the BS3). I did hook up a computer and an STB (both with DVI/HDMI output) directly to the screen and it did not work

  • Re: Problems with BV4-50/Beosystem 3 setup. No picture.

Gerd! Thanks for your answer. The DVI is in the Display 1-socket (as always for the primary display) so no error there.. The pins in the cable are all OK (even tried to switch to another cable but no difference)... I typically use a DVI-fiberlink but did the check-test with a conventional DVI-D-cable.. About the reset-routine you describe (from the

  • Problems with BV4-50/Beosystem 3 setup. No picture.

Dear BO-expert community! We've done some rearrangements with furniture in one of our rooms where we have a BV4-50/BS3 setup. Everything has worked fine till now. However, during the work the system (both display and BS3) was unplugged for a while. This typically renders a situation where you are asked to type in the PIN (which I have done a couple

  • Re: Question about dual ML wall sockets?

Well.. It's a rather large room and the 4-50/BS3 is in one end and the BS9000 is in the other end. The ML-socket is in the "middle". I would simply preferr to have a dual socket on the wall and then one, molded/crimped ML-cable in each direction, rather than some visible "connections" that splits up the cable coming out of the

  • Question about dual ML wall sockets?

Hello Beoworld forum! We have ML wallsockets installed in all rooms in our house. I now wish to move stuff around abit and therefor place two ML-connected units in one room. Is there such a thing as a "dual ML-jack" for wallmounting (to replace the "single ML-jacket" already mounted in that room)? If yes, please advice on part number

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 MKII versus MKIII (Full HD)

Just
