Well I agree with Trip...I find the Apple TV great for downloading or renting the occasional film or tv show, but for listening to music it is pretty clumsy; for my part I do not want to switch the television on to listen to a song. I have had the BS5 since the start of the year and for its role as a stereo it is simple and convenient - even the kids

Have you purchased the Mk4 or the Mk3? With some of the issues reported with the latest version, and deals available for the preceding one, seems to be a good case for the Mk3... Certainly pleased with mine.

I have recently been agonising over the same for a holiday home, and went with the discounted BV7-40 mk 111 (delivered this last w/e); very happy with it of course, but still have nagging doubt that the BV8-40 was the better buy! As Moxxey has pointed out, BV7 has additional features if you require them...

As always it is down to supply and demand - if people are prepared to sell for those prices, no dealer will offer more. If no one sells, then a dealer may be prepared to offer more. Trading in my BV5 was very painful, but it was my choice at the time. Definitely try to avoid another hit like that in future, and it would be easy with a BV7 mk3 - just

I do not see any correlation between 'trade in' value and 'service life'. The BV7 will still last as long as any CRT ever did with a perfectly satisfactory picture and better sound - up to 40,000 hours I believe. Trade - in value may be painful now, but only if you opt in to the upgrade game :)

I also have a seranata, and as a mac user have tried to transfer cover art, but finally defeated. Having spoken with B & O Denmark, understand that as the phone is discontinued the existing plug in will not be further developed to incorporate cover art. Have to go with a PC. The problem you have with the empty music folder will be solved by a reset
