  • Re: BeoSound 5 Bang&Olufsen's big mistake?

Well I agree with Trip...I find the Apple TV great for downloading or renting the occasional film or tv show, but for listening to music it is pretty clumsy; for my part I do not want to switch the television on to listen to a song. I have had the BS5 since the start of the year and for its role as a stereo it is simple and convenient - even the kids

  • Re: Showing off my new BV7-40

Have you purchased the Mk4 or the Mk3? With some of the issues reported with the latest version, and deals available for the preceding one, seems to be a good case for the Mk3... Certainly pleased with mine.

  • Re: New BV8 40 - first impressions at home

I have recently been agonising over the same for a holiday home, and went with the discounted BV7-40 mk 111 (delivered this last w/e); very happy with it of course, but still have nagging doubt that the BV8-40 was the better buy! • Re: Updates

I do not see any correlation between 'trade in' value and 'service life'. The BV7 will still last as long as any CRT ever did with a perfectly satisfactory picture and better sound - up to 40,000 hours I believe. Trade - in value may be painful now, but only if you opt in to the upgrade game :)

I also have a seranata, and as a mac user have tried to transfer cover art, but finally defeated. Having spoken with B & O Denmark, understand that as the phone is discontinued the existing plug in will not be further developed to incorporate cover art. Have to go with a PC. The problem you have with the empty music folder will be solved by a reset
