Glad to hear good customer service still exists, like you said B&O will rarely do anything FOC and when you consider how much their equipment costs sometimes it really makes you think!!

Hi all - i'm hopefully going to buy a 2000 model (Serial Number 14......) 32" Avant VCR for my lounge. I will be connecting it to a Virgin Media STB and my Sony DVD recorder. It has the STB controller but whats the odds it will need a SW update and approx how much will a dealer charge me to do this? Cheers all - Dave.

The 5000s are fantastic looking speakers but are as rare as hens teeth. I'd settle for some Beovox 3000 or 5000s which are the passive versions if memory serves me correctly..... When they do surface for sale they aren't cheap either!! Lots of choices out there.....

Its not my primary set up as i have a beosound 3000 with a pair of 6000s and an Avant as my lounge system but i've always wanted either 8000s or Penta Mk2/3's for the lounge just couldn't warrant £1000 for a pair. Hi all, Quick qu about the Beocenter 9300 - can it be wall mounted and does it have MasterLink to connect up to an Avant? Another silly question (be gentle with me) can it be connected up to a BeoSound and the Avant so that all 3 are connected up in a daisy chain.... I was watching a pair of these on Ebay and they just went for £999 from B&O Exeter - always wanted a pair of Penta's - they look great and sound very very nice too. £1000 for a pair of Penta MkIII isn't too bad.....
