Thanks Peter, thought this dvd1 would be abit poor like this. Would you know how to connect the dvd controller? I got an MX4200 with a STB contoller connected already through the jack at the back of the TV. Would the DVD controller be connected to the TV, or the DVD player? many thanks

I wonder if anyone can help me finding out what "file"/"disk" formats the DVD 1 would be able to play? The DVD player (samsung) I got at the moment can play the following: avi, mpg, mpeg, divx, mp3, wma, lpcm, ac3, jpeg Many thanks,

Thanks, would I still connect the MCL-2AV DataLink to the BeoLink Convertor as I mentioned above? (MX4200 to BeoLink Convertor via ML cable - BeoLink Convertor to MCL-2AV via DataLink cable) Then, instead of connecting the ML/MCL Convertor to the MCL-2AV, I would connect this directly to the MX via its PowerLink outlets? What would be the difference

Great, thanks. As I understand it from your advise: I connect the MX 4200 to a Beolink Convertor with a ML cable and then connect this convertor to the MCL-AV with the DataLink cable. Would I now be able to play my audio from the main room thru the TV's speakers? If I get the additional ML/MCL Convertor, or MCL-P, and connect this with the "hidden"

I recently replaced my MX 4000 with a MX 4200. I would need to connect this new MX4200 to my existing stereo MCL system. Main Room: Beomaster 6500 (connected to my computers itunes), 2 sets/pairs of passive speakers that I would like to be able to run all together, or alternately as separate pairs. The beomaster is placed in a closed cupboard with 2

Does anyone know where to get hold of a set top box controller for MX4000 / 4002 ? And does anyone have any experience from these - do they work OK? Thanks.

Thanks Stefan, The way the two MCL-2A's in the Main Room respond is all perfect (they are in sync of what source is playing and at what volume) - its all super perfect. I will use the Mute rather than Standby to switch a "speaker group" off as this works fine. What I would wish for is the Link Room to be independent of what audio source

Can anyone help with the following problems with a MCL set up. I have attached a diagram of my existing set up to which I am having some problems. The reason for the two MCl-2A in the main room is that is a very large space and I basically needed 2 tranceivers to be able to control everything OK. The tranceivers can not see each other and it works pretty

Does anyone know if B&O still is making the cable for "Master Control Link", or if there is a good alternative cable I could use?
-
I opened up the tranceiver and all the soldering joints between the cable and the circuit board looks fine. However there seem to be NO IR signal from the tranceiver. Through my digital camera I can clearly see the infra red diodes glow up on command on all my remote, but nothing is showing from the tranceiver. Now, how do I tell if it is the tranceiver
