Does anyone know where to get hold of a set top box controller for MX4000 / 4002 ?

And does anyone have any experience from these - do they work OK?

I have a STB working on my MX4000, I bought the controller on ebay, had it fitted by my dealer which cost around £100.

Works perfectly fine and is controlling a Sky box..... 

Sounds interesting. Is this item still available from B&O ? Do you have any part-no. for that ? Which type of MX4000 do you have ?

There is a stb controller for all MX TVs , 4000, 6000, 7...incl. AV 9000. Works also in old 2 way models. I have two in an MX 4000 and an AV 9000. They work fine. I don`t think that they are still available. I have no part no. - sorry.

What's about an MX4000 MKII ? As beoworld product information says a MX4000 MKII has type nr. 33xx. Will it work with this version too ?

Does nobody knows for sure, if the stb-c will work in a MX4000 MKII Type-Nr. 33xx ?

I could get one, but I want to be sure before bying it.

I would strongly recommend using a 2nd hand HDR-1 as the STB-C - this product can be updated via the service tool (a simple plug and play job) to cover new and coming boxes. And you can get an HDR-1 for a very good price these days as they are very difficult to sell (same goes for the HDR-2). And, yes, the mkII 3320-3339 can be used with the STB-C (you will need the lastest IC to handle newer boxes, and the chips are available from your local dealer).
