stefan: KingOfSnake: Without wishing to squash the thread, why on earth would anybody pay to have an internal Blu-Ray drive in a Beovision 7 for an additional £7000 when there are such fabulous Blu-Ray products available for a third of the price - such as the PS3 - which offer a host more features and functionality than a bog-standard Blu-Ray

With my laptop I have to go into the display settings and select that I wish to use VGA out - this turns the laptop screen off and outputs to an external monitor. I am sorry I do not know which OS and which application your IBM laptop uses, it seems that the connections are correct, you have to enable the VGA out on your laptop.

Seems to me that the connections are all perfect - not familiar with your laptop, but have you set the internal sw to VGA out?

Yes, since Lifestlye AV own Beoworld it is the obvious place to start, but there are other resellers and EBAY - why not order them from your local dealer?

You can connect with an RGB scart.

Moxxey, try a Topfield 5810 PVR which upscales SD to 1080i and gives a very pleasing effect on your BangVision.
