  • B&O Australia - The new Samsung SP A800B Projector orchestrated by BS3

Hi everyone, I have been searching the forums for some time now on information relating to the BS3 and matched projectors. I finally went in to see James the showroom Manager at B&O Camberwell in Melbourne. Quite apart from his patience and great knowledge and (evident) passion relating to the "architectural" aspects of all things cinema

  • Re: Essential difference between a BeoVision 4 50" versus the 65" ?

Thanks Keith. Now I have to figure whether I go for the B&O Offered SAMSUNG SP A800B projector + Motorised Stewart screen + BS3 (using my existing BV5 for normal TV viewing) or the 65" + BS3 and not bother with a Projector set up. Decisions, Decisions !!

OK - all you smartypants ! I asked the question because I was told by a desaler that the 65" had better "contrast technology" and the premium over the 50" was not just because it was 15" bigger. I believe it has a darker contrast coating.

  • Re: Beovision 4 worth the money?

Can someone provide a link to the new BV4 rounded off bezels. I am contemplating getting one. I hope they do not look like the BV9. I much prefer my current flat bezels on my BV 5. Thanks

  • Essential difference between a BeoVision 4 50" versus the 65" ?

Hi, can someone tell me the essential difference (if money was no object) between the 50" and 65" BV4 ? Please. Also I note that the BV 9 has a Beosystem 3 "built in" but it has an analogue tuner. However, does the stand alone Beosystem 3 used with a 50" or 65" BV4 have a digital tuner ?

Also, I guess, any customers you had will have been lucky / fortunate to have you as a well informed dealer. Most I went to (considering in one transaction I bought the entire range (BL5s, Lab 3s, BS 9000, BV5, A9 key ring, BS2, motorised stands etc) were next to useless. Attitudes ranged from "doing me a favour and condescending to speak with

Thanks Trip..I understand. I do have a pretty decent dealership in my suburb so will make sure `i seek their advice and will mention your points to them. I was looking at my BV5 last night and decided to turn down some of the picture settings. On the principle that less is more I turned down "brilliance to about 32 it was about the 40 mark, Contrast

Thanks Tripenglish for the prompt respnse. I am afraid just about everything ou said went way over my head..... Are you saying that I now have to connect my foxtel settop box to a different port (I have one more scart left on the back of the BV5) ?.
