That cant be true. You are not able to update the DVB-HD module through ethernet on a BV 7. /Ehlers
There must be something wrong with my BV7-MKIV then, because I have updated the DVB-HD module software at least three times during the last couple of years, using only the Internet connection. In the setup menu

Not so. I have updated the DVB-HD module several times by using only the Ethernet connection. Regards Ole
Connect BM5 spdif out directly to BL5 digital in. BV7 Powerlink out to BL5 Powerlink in. BL5 will switch to digital in automatically when detecting an spdif signal. BM5 in A.OPT 0, BV7 V.OPT 2. Stefan
Yes, that is what I feared, because that is how it is connected already. I have heard that the SPDIF feature

I have the same setup with BeoMaster 5 and BeoVision 7-40 MKIV, but also with Beolab 5s inserted in the SPDIF chain. Unfortunately I can not make it work with SPDIF, because as far as I can tell the BeoMaster does not output any signal. If I connect the powerlinks to the speakers directly to Beomaster 5 insted of the TV and changes to mode 1 (it is

I have been using the module for the last 8 months and apart from the 30 seconds startup time I have not experienced any problems. It is well integrated with the HDR1 and HDR2 but you can not watch another channel while you are recording. You can also record a HD program, but it will only be in SD quality.

Yes, I am using the keys on the outer perimeter directly. I don't know if the codes are always the same on BEO4 and BEO5. I downloaded the software for BEO5 and selected BV7-40 MKIV with stand and DVB-HD in the menu. Moxxey: >That's the problem - we have to use an external Sky box. My other HDMI socket is used for the PS3. My BM5 is now connected

Ehlerz: >First of all, i addressed the issue about the remote and pressing yellow before >everything else when controlling BD/DVD. I have a BEO5 and I don't need to press any other keys than >>, << and PLAY for fast forward, fast backward and normal. moxxey: >Apart from the noisy Blu-ray drive, weren't you somewhat disappointed

Well, I must be lucky. I bought one of the first BV 7-40 MKIII and never had any problems with it, even though I must admit that I did not use it with link rooms or blu-ray. Now I have a MKIV and that works fine too. The only thing I am not quite happy with is the time and noise of the blu-ray drive during start up. I have increased the sharpness setting

You are quite right. It was step 1 that I was missing. It is not enough to listen to the the station that shall be stored, it has to be selected from the start, as you write. Thank you.

I am not able to add a N.RADIO station to the favorite list on Beosound. When I follow the instructions and go to favorites, press GO, select a number or a colored list, release GO, then nothing happens. I have tried to add stations to the coloured list in Beoplayer and that works fine, but not all stations are there and I don't think it is possible
