[quote user="Craig"] I connect a 1.5 volt battery to the speaker. This pulls the cone in squarly. Then I peg it in place and disconnect the battery. 9 times out of 10 it is in the corect place and no scraping can be heard if I bress the cone in. • BL4000 picture w/o frets

I have been browsing the web but could not find a picture of the Beolab 4000 without frets/covers, i.e. showing the position/orientation of the woofer and tweeter. Could anyone help please. Thanks a lot.

  • CX100 - refurbishment really helpful?

Yesterday I rediscovered a long forgotten pair of CX100. Not used for years, but I remember they did not sound that bad. But yesterday they did sound awful, really horrible. • Re: DAC with Mac?

Soundproof, I intend to use a MacBookPro with a DacMagic (to be connected to a Beomaster and Beolab speakers). I intend to rip most of my CDs in Apple Lossless (ALAC) but I also intend to buy some music online (sadly mostly available in compressed formats only: AAC or MP3 320kbps). I also intend to sometimes play CDs on my MacBookPro internal player

  • Beomaster 3000-2 cabinet

Dear all, Could you please advise whether it is possible/easy to either part-exchange or re-veneer the cosmetically damaged teak cabinet of an otherwise very nice Beomaster 3000-2. Many thanks in advance. Kind regards, js
