  • Re: B&O TV Why?

I agree that B&O is expensive with its flat screens. Yet I bought a Beovision 7-40 and haven't regretted it for a single minute. I have looked at other brands, but plastic is the main ingredient of many other companies. The B&O quality materials, the beautiful and programmable motorised stand, the electronic curtain, the movement of the

  • Re: I did it again...

Thanks for the congrats and suggestions. I found a pair of fully restored MS150's for sale, but the price is 650 Euros. Seems a bit overpriced!

P.s. What older speakers (I would prefer B&O) should I be looking for with this combination. I only have active speakers so far. Any suggestions?

  • I did it again...

Could not resist an eBay offer. Bought a Beomaster 8000, Beocord 9000 and a Beogram CDX from one seller for a fair price. Everything looks beautiful cosmetically, but the Beomaster and Beocord need tweaking! I need to go and pick them up in England, so that will be a nice drive and boat trip from Amsterdam. The forum is a always a great help in technical

  • Re: Range Beolink 7000

I Phone? That's a thought! Wrong logo though ... Any other Beoworld members who can tell me the average range of a Beolink 7000. And if so: do you experience a difference in the maximum range in daylight and at nighttime?

Still works! Maximum distance about 2,5 to 3 meters in bright daylight. Is that okay?

  • Re: Range Beolink 7000

Thanks Peter! Nevertheless: what a great remote it is. A pity that B&O dropped the 2-way system. Wouldn't it be great if the new BeoSound 5 had a simular but 2008 technology touch screen remote that you could use to flip through all music files?

  • Re: The B & O product/object that made you fall for them?

The first B&O I ever saw was a mint green Beolit radio at a friends house. It was halfway the seventies here in Holland. My friend's mother was from Denmark and they had several B&O pieces that they bought when visiting their Danish family. I asked her what the mint green thing was and that was the first time I heard the words Bang &

  • Range Beolink 7000

My Beolink 7000 that I just bought (type 1540), indicated ''no contact''. Removing and adding components did not work. I went through the forums and read about the capacitor problem. I changed the two next to the IR eye as indicated on the forum and it worked fine. Very happy. For three hours. I changed the other 3 as well and cleaned
